Woof Woof! I hear as yet another excitable pup runs up to greet me in the park. I smile and give them a bit of a fuss before continuing with my walk.
Seeing friends and family you haven't seen in ages is great. There is also normally free food and drinks (always a winner), and a nice bit of dancing in the evening.
When I was a little girl, I would gather my teddy bears on the sofa and write their names on a list. I would then call their names one by one and tick them off my list. It was my own little game of playing teacher.
